My two girls have only shown a real interest since pre-season this year. They've been to games with me in the past, the eldest went to Wembley for the FA Vase Final, but this year they want to go every single weekend I have them, they're 11 and 14, sometimes it takes a little longer.

How did it feel when that moment came?

It's been something I've never worried about to be honest. I've always been asked in the past 'would I have preferred a boy instead of girls to take to football', but having spent so many years going on my own, not at all.

I was surprised though, but pleased they're getting some enjoyment out of it, although I think the novelty is wearing off a little bit now!

What a lovely story mate. You must get her to another game so that she can watch Bromley win (perhaps around March next year?)

I am busy trying to work out what that game will be! She may not see a win until she is 5

We are silly but we will win next time - this should be the closing line on any interview following a loss from now on. How do we get Andy to use it? ;)

I don't remember a time my boys didn't watch some kind of football - whether on the TV, watching their friends play, or in real life. I do love their passion for it, and for their teams (Bromley and CPFC)
