Thanks again Machel. If we can get hold of Idris he would be the one for me. Mature beyond his years he is built like a tank and gives us the long throw option. Bes is excellent also. Can you play them in the same team though? Bes has played at Cente back but I think in League 2 you need more height in the Centre Backs. Passley is a good option. Would Joe Kizzi come back? I know he is under contract. I would agree Myles may be surplus to requirements. We will never forget the two goals that got us to Wembley but we do need a 90 minute player. I think Arthurs should be left in Midfield he is beginning to blossom there.
Right back is a position we have struggled to get cover for so is an area to be looked at. If we can’t keep Passley it would be Kizzi plus another more defensively minded player rather than an attacking wing-back for me.
I tend to agree. Bes could also act as an emergency central defender. We definitely need enhancement, but what formation will we need to cover? Will it continue as 3412, which served well on the run in with attacking wing backs? Or 442, which requires defensive full backs and wingers?
