Always rated Vennings and of course can’t forget his performance with Bingham in the 2022 victory. He can definitely bounce back with the right choice of next club.

Good passage. I would like to see Newby from Altrincham and Lewis Leigh. Newby was outstanding against us his mobility and set up play was mesmerising.
Late on this but the key is replacing Ben Krauhaus which will be difficult if we are going for a like to like player. We certainly need someone who can pass a ball and deliver set plays. Leigh fits the bill but can you play him and Charles ? Jude and Corey will stay. Woods is a squad player and can’t see anyone else staying. Above all else goals maybe hard to come by so I would go for a big physical team bring in Omar alongside Deji with Cheek upfront and get some goals from set plays.
Great read again Mash and toughest section for me as I think we need to be ruthless to get our engine room ready for Div 2. Keep Jude, Corey and Charles, that’s it. Possibly, just possibly keep Woods but squad only and even then there might be better out there. We’ll need some craft, skill and defence opening capability coming in and a bit of experience at this level to compliment what we’ve got. This is one area we can’t afford to be regularly second best at as we’ll get carved apart or out muscled and life will becoming quickly very tough in Div 2. Lewis Leigh would be a fantastic addition, Ryan Stirk would be outstanding so I’m not holding out any great hope on either. In Woody we trust, but we’ll need some quality recruitment in midfield 🤞🏼

I wonder if Crewe are looking at Lewis permanently as well considering they are staying down. It will be hard for Woodman to sell Bromley to him if Crewe do come calling. Especially if the budget is not there

Yep the more I think about it the more I realise some top League Two nous will be needed in the middle of the park
