In the cold light of day a point has been missed. Bromley supporters by and large are genuine Club followers and understand the financial side of the club very well, indeed AW tells us in every interview what a small budget he has to try and compete with.

The issue is a PR cock up, telling loyal fans what is happening rather than explaining. It’s not about the terrace, bar, entrance or ticket guarantee it is about the manner in which it is conveyed. The lightly termed PR Dept have again fired their shotgun into the crowd and said “that’ll tell ‘em” in fact it doesn’t.

If the PR Dept had been open with the fanbase they wouldn’t be faced with the flack that has been returned.

Simply by saying “if you are a season ticket holder not attending the game, can we re sell your ticket which will help the club finances. In exchange we will supply a drinks token to be used the next time you attend” or similar, would have saved a hell of a lot of Chinese whispers and fan discontent.

If you're a Bromley fan you should be outraged. I'm not one and I think chasing the pound notes over one game compared to your supporters who've paid upfront regardless of the price for 23 home games, it stinks!

You're chasing the play-offs and happy to give the visitors more support off it than looking after your own, totally wrong. Not seen one fan from any club including Wrexham fans saying this is a good idea, classic case of reading the room wrong 100%.

Isn’t there a national train strike on Saturday 18th March? If that goes ahead it may well affect the likely number of away fans. I hope they’ve considered that

I can understand the outrage fully, but if I'm honest, at the start of the season, when offered the chance of a £97 season ticket, the club had stipulated that for certain matches we would need to lock in our tickets, I would have happily have accepted this. Hindsight is brilliant, but let's hope lessons are learned here and we can look forward similarly affordable offers in future.

I'm more upset by the prospect of being forced out of the North End. That's something that will need to be addressed with priority given to the needs of the home fan.

I think it's fair enough to ask people who paid 97 pounds for their season ticket (like me) to book for the game.

Anyone who paid the full price though should be assumed to be attending (I presume there are some people who paid full price).

I don't know why fans are so critical of Bromley maximising income, we can see all around the increase in expenditure over the last few years which has greatly improved match day experience, I'm sure we would all welcome more improvements on and off the pitch, and that has to be paid for.

I guess the club have a fairly accurate idea of ST and actual attendees.

You would think with few other games around that margin will be few so why upset the fans !

Two things here, potential beer sales to the Wrexham fans and imo the Chairman and board trying to impress their Celebrity guests.

With a fair wind you could have both and keep Bromley fans happy.

We dont know how many fans they will bring, word is they are taking over 4000 to Halifax. They took 1500 to Notts Co on a weekday evening.

Last year 800 came to Hayes Lane.

Lets give them the whole of the East terrace and a block of GB,that small bit on the end behind the goal to stir up our youth.

That should be around 1500 ish but they may not bring that.

Grant the Ravens access to the bar as a gesture.

Then impress your visitors with a slap up welcome pack.

I dont buy the turnstile thing once you have control of the numbers and segregation.

The ST thing,as you say,its not hard but mine is already rubber stamped.

The club really should have learnt by now RSG has shown willing in the past.

Need to lay down a mark for future use.
