He has a *shocking* first half on the ball. Every time he gave it away, looked nervous, or dallied in possession there were audible groans from the North stand.
Credit to him (and to Andy for keeping him on) for coming back out in the second half and looking like the player we all know he is.
Completely agree regarding Deji. He looked like he was going to pieces in the first half. But he kept at it and dug his way back into the game, which was great to see. Near the end of the first half, Deji pinged a mesmerising cross-field pass that signalled his class and suggested he was over the funk. Great mentality.
Still, I dread to think how badly a team with even a little killer instinct would've battered Bromley in that first half hour.
