Excellent summary, as always there’s lots of if’s and buts, penalty shouts, ‘it never crossed the line’ claims etc etc, but the bottom line is we could have been 3 down by half time and their masterstroke of a substitution bringing Beck on was a massive game changer. The question is whether we can pick ourselves up by Tuesday. I think there has to be changes, if Deji is somehow fit I’d bring him in, if not then Grant in, drop Webster and move Calum into the middle, I’d switch Idris for Bes and also start Vennings for Jude. As you say, it’s just not working for Fela so a question of whether to go for Davies or Louis, personally I prefer the more mercurial talent of Louis.

Big test for Woodman as well, will need to use all his man management skills to get a positive result

Would think their will be changes for Tuesday some look like they need a rest ( Corey, Fela , & Webster ?) . Good write up as usual.

Good and honest opinion of the game I was behind the goal for Solihull’s first (which wasn’t a goal) and our first which came off passley into the net.

Seeing the disappointment in the boys has given me a lil more confidence to be honest tho we lost it shows they truly care and want the best for the

Club. I have no doubt they’ll bounce back from this.

4 league games for them to get it over the line and put Bromley in the best position possible going into the playoffs.

Come on boys!!

Bes should be playing but Deji told me yesterday he hope to be fit fir the play offs. Need to drop Fella for certain

Number of teams in the National League who have scored more goals = 11

Number of teams who have conceded less goals = 1

Is this right? - A recent Bromley team had SEVEN defenders including the goalkeeper and defensive midfield player and only TWO forwards.

Oh dear, here I go again; the villain of the piece. Is there no one out there who spotted warning signs after the Slough, Chippenham, and Woking displays? Doesn’t anyone think Solihull - and strugglers like Kidderminster and Hartlepool before them - were superior all round to us? Am I the only one who fears Mr Woodman has taken us as far as he can without a plan B and dependent on Route One long high ball football even when it’s blowing a gale? Look, I’m profoundly grateful for AW’s efforts over the last three years, but he can only do so much with players most of whom have never been anywhere near the League Two we dream of, and look lost when Plan A hits a brick wall. Maybe the gaffer insists they play that way, who knows? But the brutal truth is it isn’t working now we’ve been found out, and I fear management and playing personnel will have to be changed considerably next season if we are to continue living the dream. Sorry to be so blunt again, folks, but as I’ve said before I’ll be renewing my season ticket no matter what. The banter in the Fiorini Stand is brilliant!!
