One thing I have to call out though, is this new "set piece routine" that we seem to be attempting on *every single corner.*
Omar starts almost on the corner of the opposition box, presumably to give him a run at the corner. We saw it against Chelsea, and again against Dons, and not one has connected.
When he was with us last time he was our primary threat on set-pieces, and I cannot understand why we're trying to be clever when - to be old fashioned about it - sticking it in the mixer for the big lads has always proven far more effective for us.
How many more goals at the back post/right-back position are we going to concede before it's realised that Danny Imray's attacking play isn't enough to offset his defensive liabilities?
Largely agree with the write up. Success this season will be staying in the League. They are indeed a team in the managers image. Honest, hard working and giving it their all.
Character shown in coming back so strongly after conceding a poor goal, especially in light of recent results.
Every game presents a challenge and this will be a season of learning ' on the job'. As we saw on Saturday, mistakes will be pounced upon and can prove costly. Danny Imray was twice guilty of over playing in his own half in the second period - those are obvious errors that can be eradicated. I think Woody got that point across to him in no uncertain fashion !
Carl Jenkinson will add quality and experience. If he performs, he will be an important presence.
So, ultimately, respect the point as they say. MK Dons have underperformed this season, but in periods showed their quality. I would expect them to finish nearer the top of the league than the bottom.
Another point in the bank, let's hope that can be added to on Tuesday.
Thought Imray was fantastic, lots of effective running and drive, looks to have genuine L2 quality. Omar, while showing plenty of pace and power, was very untidy, giving the ball away a lot in dangerous areas, and I thought he'd given a penalty for handball away just as the final whistle went. He's not been the player he was so far.
Agree with the write-up, Mach.

Watching Congreve and he seems to be growing quite fast - great engine and seems to be more confident driving forward - technically looks the part

Waste of time picking up 1 point when teams below us are wining and picking up 3 points
I'd rather one than none

Interesting as the other central defenders had weaker games than him
