We were miles better second half and I thought it was a very good goal. There was a huge sigh of relief around the ground and I am guessing with the players too they just relaxed and Halifax got the equaliser. After that I don't think Halifax had a chance. We didn't quite manage to get the winner but it was an improved performance. I get why he doesn't play Marriot but I would prefer to give David Smith or Adaja a go rather than George. Louis should be given more game time also. The one thing I did notice is when Halifax got the ball in Midfield they instinctively passed the ball forward and with accuracy for a team that plays a lot together Bromley should be able to do the same but so often they didn't find the runners so slowed down their momentum giving the opposition more time to regroup. A Joshua Rees would be nice especially as there is an over reliance on Whiteley.
Difficult to understand why Hannam was taken off and replaced by Claydon. Perhaps there is an agreement to give them both some game time?
I agree with other comments relating to the lack of creativity in our midfield and the lack of goals from there. It gets very frustrating to see the midfield in possession but then passing the ball back to Smith who then punts a long ball upfield looking for Cheek but invariably falling to the opposition. They appear to be working on a safety first/no risk approach and I wonder if this is something that is instilled in them in training.
I think this is why I posed if it boils down to movement off the ball or the slow movement of the ball? I will be watching the next game with interest...
Your post games with Andy are always good , more depth than club ones for sure . I get his point with George but he just doesn't score goals , don't know what issue is with Smith but would like him to get proper chance .
Not only are the midfield not scoring, there is no creativity coming from it either. It is being over run game after game and because of this passing back to the defence is their only option. AW has nothing to lose by making your suggestion a reality and bringing in Louis Dennis, not for the odd 10 mins but starting a few games for 90 mins.

Whatever it means to play on the front foot and how that actually manifests - we defo need to do more of it.
Good point about playing the ‘in form’ teams recently.
I understand why Louis is on the bench but have you any clues why Marriot isn’t playing ?
The game at Dorking is one we need to win if we aren't to get sucked down into the mire.
I do think it is now time to go back to Cheek and Marriott and fight fire with fire but ultimately that also depends on service improving.
Thought Loui and Marriot should have come on
At the start of the second half.
Alexander was too easily tackled and a bit ineffective Imo.
Need to sort this for Dorking surely🤔
Thanks Mash.

I like to think Andy trusts me to ask the 'difficult' questions without trying to do 'gotcha' moments or draw him out. Just honest conversations...
Maybe we will start to see David in the second half of the season. He should defo be playing against Cray Valley next Tuesday

Way I see it what else do we have to lose? I do think that we wouldnt be noticing the lack of threat in the middle if we were more incisive out wide.
Exactly, Louis tends to stretch out defences which obviously creates space. This is how Josh Rees scored so many goals playing in tandem with him
