Maybe it's because I had missed a few games but I really enjoyed the game , some of the defending by Deji was excellent & Webbo continues to defy his critics . Cheek & Smith will get huge credit and deserve it but their was a lot to like in the Bromley performance v a decent team .
Another fair write-up Machel. Its only my opinion but give me a One Nil to the Arsenal every week and achieve something, rather than hoping for 90 mins entertainment followed by moaning like the Spurs fans. We have only played badly in 3 or 4 games this season, other dropped points were caused by silly mistakes, without those we would probably have another 6 points and be real contenders for a play off spot. I believe we can still achieve that however, our run in fixtures look winnable, hope others agree? Cheers, Rob
First half was one of the most fluidly attacking performances i’ve seen under Woodman. Mayor has (to an extent!) replicated what Imray was doing at RWB, yet doing it from full back. Woodman has given himself a lot of options as to how we play & hasn’t stuck to his football dna when it doesn’t suit us.
I do wonder if we have outgrown the east terrace boundary before we’ve even put as much along there as is possible to do so. I don’t have an financially viable alternative it’s just a comment about how far we’ve come, even in the last 6 months
Was in the Glyn Beverley stand and can confirm that the Grant Smith save in 93rd minute was truly remarkable!
Noticed today that based on away games only we are 5th in league two. But based on home games only we are 21st! Really hope we get a result against Harrogate
I started my Bromwatch in the East stand in the corner and although it was a great feeling, being exposed to all weathers and the slog getting out of the ground past the Glyn Bev if the back gates are not open was not great. Since my move to the North terrace it's been much more pleasurable and the upgrades to the East will be a massive improvement. I hope they can do the same to the North at some point.
