There’s been a number of people who took the credits rather than being moved and didn’t keep their season tickets for the final few games.
Also there is a lot of ill will created by the way this has been handled by the club. There has been plenty of long term fans saying they won’t renew next season.
The anticipated hike in season ticket prices will only exacerbate this.
Attendances have increased ten fold in two decades, maybe we have peaked?
On the pitch the club has been incredible this season, off it hasn’t been so great.
What does the credits allow you? In terms of season ticket prices arguably the hike should be expected as they have been 'good' for a long while now. Wont stop people kicking off about it though.
It’s a credit towards next season’s ticket. A few people who sat together were faced with the prospect of being sat on their own after the relocation and opted not to.
I get your point about the prices, but there should be working turnstiles, adequate toilet and food provision as a basic requirement if you market yourselves as a family club.
Never been a fan of watching games behind a goal - can't claim the tickets online via Ticketmaster, so have to drive down to the club to pick up tickets, which is a bit of faff, so haven't bothered for the midweek games.
The Doncaster game, midweek and on Sky Sports+, would have affected the attendance.
The whole Season Ticket / construction problem has been ill thought through and basically rubbed the fan base up the wrong way, does it surprise anybody?
My match day used to be get to the ground about 1-30pm and leave at around 6-30pm. I now arrive half an hour before kickoff and leave when the final whistle blows. Don’t ask me why, but I am certainly not the only one whose match day has changed.
I don't believe for a second the club doesn't know which STHs are claiming & not attending. It's so easy to obtain that info from their systems backend. My assumption is that they've obligations to core sponsors, which I get, but I could be wrong of course.
That said we have to accept that the club was thrust into football league life with minimal preparation so mistakes will have been made. We just need to roll with it for now.
For me, the hope is that during the off season, the club has learned and will create a business model to appease fans & sponsors alike.

Think you are spot on though that we have peaked.

Cant argue with that - I await your article on it!
I’ve written it, but if it’s published I probably won’t be allowed back in!
