Another good review, thank you Mash.

I have concerns about the policing, or lack of it.

Until about 2/3 games ago, the police would park a van across the exit to the car park behind the goal and stop the 'yoof' from getting to the away supporters. Recently that van has not been deployed and after the Notts County game there were some ugly scenes where the rival supporters were facing off to each other and a very outnumbered group of police were having to use their batons to keep them apart.

If at the Wrexham game, the away fans are let out of the exit next to the automated turnstiles, there will be a massive coming together that will spill over into the main car park and seriously impact families leaving the ground.

On an associated note, I do not understand why the 'adult' individual who incites the younger ones and causes many problems at home and away has not been banned for life. He brings shame on Bromley's name wherever he goes. He is well known by everybody associated with the club.

He should not be allowed to darken bromley's door ever again.

I was not aware of that set up outside the ground. It sounds like the police and Bromley officials need to do some serious thinking. Are they on the same page?

I would suggest they leave Wrexham fans in the ground and delay their exit.

As for the adult - I believe he had his ban overturned midway through last season. The question for me is he aware of the influence he has on the yoof? Does he care? Does he like it? Can he be reasoned with about it?

All questions I plan to put to him when I see him next

Calling him an adult is harsh ;)

Hi Machel again thanks. I was not totally surprised about Tuesday night. It was a bit of 'after the Lord Mayors show' performance. We really could have done with the 3 points against County. That said we are not out of it. As to the penalty, clearly Corey has to take most of the blame. Maybe he was conscious of the back pass that led to the goal against Bath? He certainly tried to make up for it in the Second Half which showed how much he cares! The break will do the team good. Maybe with being the away side it will give us more space against Halifax which may suit us but we have to start on the front foot, take our chances and avoid crazy mistakes. Hopefully Cheek, Bingham and Kendall will be back fully fit. We are reaching that stage where we do not start getting 3 points to have any chance. TBH I think we can still do this the concern is if we have too many injuries there is a lack of depth in the squad. Bergkamp is the only creative player we haven't given much game time. Maybe worth a go.

Yeah the one start Mitchel got he scored a goal.

I suspect they don't quite know what Mitchel's best position is yet but he may well be due a second start sooner rather than later.

Good review as usual. My take on the penalty is that when a manager decides to play with no goalkeeper on the bench, it should be drilled into the playing goalie that it is easier to get a goal back with eleven on the the pitch rather than ten. Professional game, professional player, professional decision.

With regards to the new element behind the goal, apparently it was an old element who needs no introduction who got slung out, the same element who achieved social media notoriety attempting to throw a wheelie bin at the Notts County supporters 🤷🏼‍♂️

I agree with that 1st paragraph to be fair. Watching the goal back I do think RCC has an opportunity to dive (albeit a split second window) and it must have been a total brain fade to do what he actually did.

As for the individual. Well the club cant say they dont know what they are getting.

100% share your concerns over the Wrexham game. Add the ticket debacle and there is a recipe for a very unpleasant afternoon with season ticket holders being turned away and the new kids looking for somewhere to gather and goad the visitors.

I was baffled by the substitutions of Dennis and especially Forster on Tuesday. I just didn’t get it at all.

Hopefully Sam Long will step up and prove his worth in goal, he’s in for a baptism of fire with Halifax, Wrexham and Yeovil!

I dont know if RCC's ban is 1 or 3 games but tbf to Woodman he knows a keeper so I wouldnt be too worried

I was more baffled by the Dennis sub personally but I do know Dennis has been carrying an injury so that may have been enforced.

Harry on the surface seemed the most likely to make breaks at speed but as ever what was his end product saying?

I’m a fan of watching Harry play, but yeah the more I see the more I get the point that his finishing is not great.

He should spend days just shooting from all angles, far to many off target or pea roller shots

Or as I was taught ( called ‘coached’ now) as young as junior school football “get yer head over the ball son!!”

He gives pace, but continually runs deep to the bye line and very rarely gets a cross in.

All the raw attributes are there except better decision making in the final third and finishing

I was hoping Stirk was going to be our missing play maker after his first couple of games but he has suddenly gone “ crab like” and no more than a water carrier to keep moves going . Ten games to get a run going but if I were a betting man I wouldn’t bet on us…. but there is always the hope that Stirk and Dennis weave some magic for us.

There is definitely room for an elite 'water carrier' as those are unheralded players but he cant also be the players that he needs around him

Killed the game going to 10, we still played ok though to be fair, seems to be a thing in recent years that a numerical advantage doesn’t always make a difference, however an outfield player on goal is always bad thing.

Still haven’t seen any after match interviews with AW on this one, did he see you coming and legged it Mash 😂

It's on YouTube, but I don't recall the interview "advertised" that it was out.

Thanks once again for a great view of Tuesday,s match. My view is a major managerial error was in first sub this should have been new defender not winger to tighten defence and protect "keeper"
