The lack of an appearance by Louis was a mystery to us crying out for this change up, while Jude is an excellent worker LD has the guile and craft to make things happen. We needed to give BW something else to think about and LD could have been the answer and totally agree with the centre back needed on the bench. For a change the subs calls were all wrong. Hey ho onwards we go one point better off.
Maybe its me I didn't think we were that bad Second Half. We didn't put away our chances then its always inevitable the opposition will take one of theirs. Ok yes we should have created more. I would have had Louis on from the start and definitely a Centre Back and Vennings on the bench. It will be a wake up call though and we need to do better in the next two home games if we have serious intentions of getting in the top 3. Thanks as ever Mash.
I wasn’t at the game yesterday as I have the chest infection. It was always going to be one of those games, flat. The hype, TV, interviews, crowd and intensity of an FA Cup game against Blackpool last weekend made sure of that, it shouldn’t but it does. Friends who were there said the team looked like they were playing an end of season doesn’t matter game.
Think back to Borehamwood, in the playoff positions, had the cup run, played at Goodison Park versus Everton and their league position just fell away.
We have two home games now a ‘winnable’ and a ‘we’ve got to be at our best’, we can do it.
Louise should have played the last 20 minutes or more instead of Cheeky, end of chat

Not sure what game you watched mate but 1. Lewis Leigh played behind Sam Woods.
2. The midfield can’t control the game when the defenders just constantly want to hoof the ball.
3. The strikers couldn’t hold a ball up to save their lives. All round poor but never going to control a game against 10 men when its hoof hoof hoof.
I stand corrected on point 1 but it didnt look like that - if anything they must have been dovetailing.
On to the next one, hopefully we have a good game against Fylde.

100% felt like after the Lord Mayor's show - very very flat
